PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY TO GIVE AWAY 4,000 SIX FLAGS AMERICA TICKETS TO RESIDENTS WHO GET VACCINATED AGAINST COVID-19

LARGO, MD – Prince George’s County Executive Angela Alsobrooks, along with the Prince George’s County Health Department, announced today that the County is offering a new incentive to residents who get vaccinated. Due to the generous donation of 4,000 tickets by Six Flags America, Prince George’s County residents who receive a COVID-19 vaccine can receive two free tickets to Six Flags America, while supplies last.

“We are Prince George’s Proud to work with Six Flags America to promote vaccination efforts throughout the County,” said Prince George’s County Executive Angela Alsobrooks. “While we have made significant strides in our efforts to vaccinate all of our eligible residents, we recognize that we must also continue to work to reach our most vulnerable populations. We hope that offering families a much-needed day of fun and excitement at Six Flags will encourage more of our residents to get vaccinated and be Proud to be Protected against COVID-19.”

Beginning today, all Prince George’s County residents 12 and older who receive a COVID-19 vaccine at the Prince George’s Sports & Learning Complex will receive two free tickets to Six Flags America. Tickets will be provided while supplies last or until Friday, September 17, 2021, and can be used on any public operating day through Sunday, September 19, 2021.

“Six Flags America is proud to support vaccination efforts in Prince George’s County,” said Six Flags America Park President Richard Pretlow. “After serving as a mass vaccination site this spring—resulting in nearly 340,000 vaccines delivered—we are hopeful that this ticket donation will help reach underrepresented communities. We are excited to offer a day of thrills at Six Flags to help encourage residents to get vaccinated.”

Residents should visit mypgc.us/COVIDVaccine for clinic operating hours or to schedule an appointment at the Prince George’s Sports & Learning Complex. Walk-ins are also accepted.

EL CONDADO DE PRINCE GEORGE REGALARÍA 4,000 BOLETOS DE SIX FLAGS AMERICA A LOS RESIDENTES QUE SE VACUNEN CONTRA EL COVID-19

LARGO, MD – La ejecutiva del condado de Prince George, Angela Alsobrooks, junto con el Departamento de Salud del condado de Prince George, anunciaron hoy que el condado está ofreciendo un nuevo incentivo a los residentes que se vacunen. Debido a la generosa donación de 4,000 boletos por parte de Six Flags America, los residentes del condado de Prince George que reciben una vacuna COVID-19 pueden recibir dos boletos gratuitos para Six Flags America, hasta agotar suministros.

"Estamos orgullosos de trabajar con Six Flags America para promover los esfuerzos de vacunación en todo el condado", dijo la ejecutiva del condado de Prince George, Angela Alsobrooks. "Si bien hemos logrado avances significativos en nuestros esfuerzos para vacunar a todos nuestros residentes elegibles, reconocemos que también debemos continuar trabajando para llegar a nuestras poblaciones más vulnerables. Esperamos que ofrecer a las familias un día muy necesario de diversión y emoción en Six Flags aliente a más de nuestros residentes a vacunarse y estar orgullosos de estar protegidos contra COVID-19".

A partir de hoy, todos los residentes del condado de Prince George de 12 años o más que reciban una vacuna contra el COVID-19 en el Complejo de Deportes y Aprendizaje de Prince George recibirán dos boletos gratuitos para Six Flags America. Los boletos se proporcionarán hasta agotar suministros o hasta el viernes 17 de septiembre de 2021, y se pueden usar en cualquier día de operación pública hasta el domingo 19 de septiembre de 2021.

"Six Flags America se enorgullece de apoyar los esfuerzos de vacunación en el condado de Prince George", dijo el presidente de Six Flags America Park, Richard Pretlow. "Después de servir como un sitio de vacunación masiva esta primavera, lo que resultó en casi 340,000 vacunas entregadas, tenemos la esperanza de que esta donación de boletos ayude a llegar a las comunidades subrepresentadas. Estamos entusiasmados de ofrecer un día de emociones en Six Flags para ayudar a alentar a los residentes a vacunarse".

Los residentes deben visitar mypgc.us/COVIDVaccine para conocer las horas de operación de la clínica o para programar una cita en el Complejo de Deportes y Aprendizaje Prince George. También se aceptan walk-ins.
